hi, I’m Britt

I was born and raised in the DMV; I studied creative writing and film at Yale University. Now I work and play in the City of Angels. I’m a columnist for the Los Angeles Review of Books, the author of poetry and prose collection Parasocialite, the screenwriter behind award-winning thriller short “Fragile.com,” and the co-founder of literary reading series Car Crash Collective.
I’ve contributed to Coveteur, V Magazine, Document Journal, Latina Media Co., and the Contemporary Art Review of Los Angeles, among other outlets. My work has been platformed in Vanity Fair, Nylon, Office, Artillery, Mitú, and The Creative Independent. I’m a Best of the Net Award Finalist and an alumna of the AT&T Hello Lab Filmmaker Mentorship Program. I also have a background in performance art and themed entertainment as the former creative director of Yale Children’s Theater, an improv instructor for middle school students, and a longtime scare actor.
Let’s do something fun together.
